Ubisoft 40th Sale: 90% Off + Free Game Sept 2026

Free For Honor Game: How to Claim Until Sept 28

From now until September 28, 2026, Ubisoft is giving away a free copy of For Honor Standard Edition for PC only on the Ubisoft Store or Ubisoft Connect. This isn't a free-to-play conversion or a limited trial—once you claim it, the game is yours to keep permanently.

What's Included in For Honor Standard Edition

The Standard Edition includes the base game and 14 playable heroes. For Honor is a team-based PvP fighting game celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, where different factions like Knight, Samurai, Viking, Wu Lin, and more face each other in battles.

The game features a unique three-directional combat system where you attack, parry, and block from three directions in intense melee combat. The primary game mode is Dominion, a 4v4 battle in which you have to hold three different objective points on the map, and prevent the other team from doing so—though For Honor also offers 2v2 and 1v1 game modes, and you can prove your mettle in Ranked Dominion or Ranked Duel.

Step-by-Step: How to Claim For Honor Free

1. Create a free Ubisoft account at ubisoft.com if you don't already have one
2. Download and install the Ubisoft Connect PC launcher
3. Log in to Ubisoft Connect or visit the Ubisoft Store website
4. Navigate to the For Honor product page (currently showing 100% off)
5. Click "Get it Free" or "Add to Cart" at ₱0
6. Complete the checkout process—no payment method required
7. The game will be permanently added to your Ubisoft Connect library

For Filipino gamers looking to build their PC gaming library affordably, claiming this free title is a no-brainer. Many players who want to earn gaming credits for free or stretch their budget should take advantage of this offer before it expires.

Ubisoft 40th Anniversary Sale: Dates, Platforms & Discounts

Ubisoft is celebrating its 40th anniversary by giving back to players with a game giveaway and massive discounts on old favorites, new bestsellers, and long-running games, offering up to 90% off on the Ubisoft Store, Steam, and the Epic Games Store for PC. This is one of the publisher's most aggressive sales in years, with different end dates depending on which platform you're shopping on.

Sale Duration by Platform

The Ubisoft Store sale is live now until October 13 and features the entire Ubisoft catalogue, and the Steam sale is live now until October 1. Filipino gamers have the longest window to shop on the official Ubisoft Store, giving you nearly a month to decide which games fit your budget.

What Game Franchises Are Included

Games from Assassin's Creed, Rainbow Six, Anno, Watch Dogs, Prince of Persia, and other Ubisoft series are included, with the UBI40 code offering an additional discount on eligible purchases. Whether you're into stealth action, tactical shooters, open-world adventures, or strategy games, there's something for every type of PC gamer in this sale.

The timing couldn't be better for Filipino gamers who've been eyeing Ubisoft titles but waiting for the right price. With the Philippine peso's current exchange rate, these discounts translate to significant savings when purchasing games on Steam or the Ubisoft Store, especially when you find the best deals Philippines today across multiple platforms.

Best Deals: Top Games Under ₱150 Philippines

Here are some of the standout deals from Ubisoft's 40th Anniversary Sale, with approximate Philippine peso conversions based on current exchange rates (USD to PHP ≈ ₱55). These prices are particularly attractive for budget-conscious gamers shopping from the Philippines.

Top-Tier Games at Rock-Bottom Prices

Watch_Dogs is now down to $1.99 at 90% off, while the sequel Watch_Dogs 2 has received a 95% discount, bringing it to $2.49. That's approximately ₱109 and ₱137 respectively—less than the price of a fast-food meal for AAA open-world games.

Prince of Persia The Lost Crown is at 70% off and Far Cry 6 has a 90% discount. Far Cry 6 can currently be grabbed for up to 92% off directly from the Ubisoft Store when you use the code UBI40. This brings one of Ubisoft's most recent flagship titles down to bargain-bin pricing within its first few years on the market.

Specific Price Examples (Approximate PHP)

• Watch_Dogs: $1.99 (₱109) - 90% off
• Watch_Dogs 2: $2.49 (₱137) - 95% off
• The Division 1 & 2: $2.99 each (₱164) - 90% off
• Far Cry Primal: $2.99 (₱164) - 90% off
• Far Cry 6: Varies by edition, up to 92% off with UBI40 code
• The Crew Motorfest: $6.99 (₱384) - 90% off

These prices represent some of the best value propositions for PC gamers in the Philippines right now. For context, these games would normally cost between ₱800 to ₱2,500 at regular retail pricing in the Philippine market. The savings are substantial enough that you could build an entire library of AAA titles for the price of one newly-released game.

UBI40 Promo Code: Extra 20% Off on Ubisoft Store

Shopping directly on the Ubisoft Store comes with an exclusive advantage: the coupon code UBI40 provides an additional 20% off at checkout. This stacks on top of the already-discounted sale prices, creating some of the deepest discounts available during the 40th anniversary celebration.

How to Use the UBI40 Discount Code

1. Browse the Ubisoft Store and add eligible sale items to your cart
2. Proceed to checkout when you're ready to purchase
3. Look for the "Promo Code" or "Coupon Code" field
4. Enter UBI40 (case-sensitive) in the code field
5. Click "Apply" to see your additional 20% discount
6. Complete your purchase with the stacked savings

This For Honor freebie is part of Ubisoft's 40th anniversary celebrations, which also include a sale, and when using code UBI40, you can save an extra 20% on top of the regular discounts. The mathematics work in your favor: a game on sale for 70% off becomes effectively 76% off with the UBI40 code applied.

UBI40 Code Restrictions and Limitations

For Filipino buyers purchasing through the Ubisoft Store, this extra 20% off can make a significant difference, especially when buying multiple games or premium editions. When you're browsing through various deals under your budget, the UBI40 code might be the difference between affording an extra game or staying within your spending limit.

Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced: First-Ever Discount

One of the most noteworthy aspects of this sale is the inclusion of Ubisoft's latest remaster. As part of the sale, Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is on sale for the first time, with the Standard Edition available for 10% off, and the Deluxe Edition for 15% off.

What Is Black Flag Resynced?

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Resynced is Ubisoft's modern remaster of the beloved 2013 pirate-themed entry in the Assassin's Creed franchise. Released on July 9, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X|S, this updated version brings enhanced graphics, improved performance, and quality-of-life improvements to one of the series' most popular installments.

The game follows Edward Kenway, a pirate-turned-assassin in the Caribbean during the Golden Age of Piracy. Players experience naval combat, treasure hunting, and stealth-action gameplay across a massive open world. The remaster is particularly significant for Filipino gamers who may have missed the original release or want to experience the game with modern visual fidelity.

Black Flag Resynced Pricing During the Sale

• Standard Edition: 10% off (first discount since launch)
• Deluxe Edition: 15% off (first discount since launch)

For Assassin's Creed fans in the Philippines, this is the first chance to save money on what many consider one of the franchise's best entries. The game's naval combat and pirate theme have made it a fan favorite, and the remaster brings those experiences to modern hardware with significant visual improvements.

What This Means for Filipino PC Gamers

The Ubisoft 40th Anniversary Sale presents several practical considerations for gamers in the Philippines. Understanding regional pricing, payment methods, and platform differences will help you maximize your savings and avoid potential issues.

Regional Pricing and Currency Considerations

Steam typically offers regional pricing for the Philippines, which means some games may be priced lower in PHP than the direct USD-to-PHP conversion would suggest. The Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store prices are usually in USD, requiring you to pay the current exchange rate plus any foreign transaction fees your bank or payment method charges.

Current exchange rate considerations: With 1 USD ≈ ₱55-56 PHP as of September 2026, a $2.99 game costs approximately ₱164-167 before any payment processing fees. Filipino gamers should compare prices across all three platforms (Steam, Epic, Ubisoft Store) to find the absolute best deal for each specific game.

Payment Methods That Work in the Philippines

Filipino PC gamers have several options for purchasing games during the Ubisoft sale:

• Steam Wallet: Can be loaded via GCash, PayMaya, 7-Eleven, convenience stores, and direct bank transfers
• PayPal: Accepted on all three platforms; can be funded with Philippine bank accounts or cards
• Credit/Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard widely accepted (watch for foreign transaction fees on Ubisoft Store/Epic)
• GCash/PayMaya: Can be used for Steam Wallet top-ups or linked as payment methods
• Gift Cards: Steam gift cards available locally; Ubisoft Store accepts international gift cards

For gamers who prefer to avoid credit cards or foreign transaction fees, loading a Steam Wallet through local payment methods often provides the smoothest purchasing experience. You can also explore opportunities to earn money online Philippines through legitimate methods to fund your gaming purchases.

Which Platform Offers the Best Value for Filipino Buyers?

Each platform has distinct advantages:

Steam is usually the best choice for Filipino gamers due to regional pricing, PHP payment options, and no foreign transaction fees when using local payment methods. The sale runs until October 1 on Steam.

Ubisoft Store has the longest sale duration (until October 13) and offers the exclusive UBI40 code for an extra 20% off, but prices are in USD and may incur foreign transaction fees.

Epic Games Store sometimes offers better base discounts and occasionally has additional coupons, but like the Ubisoft Store, prices are in USD for Philippine buyers.

Smart Filipino shoppers should check prices for specific games across all three platforms before purchasing, as the "best" platform can vary depending on the title, current exchange rates, and any platform-specific promotions.

Tips for Smooth Transactions from the Philippines

Avoid VPNs: Do not use VPN services to access different regional pricing. All platforms have policies against this, and it can result in account suspension or purchase cancellation.

Check System Requirements: Before purchasing, verify that your PC meets the minimum system requirements for each game. Ubisoft titles can be demanding, especially newer releases.

Consider Internet Speed: Ubisoft games often have large file sizes (30-100GB+). With Philippine internet speeds varying widely, factor in download times when planning your purchases.

Watch for Additional Fees: If using credit/debit cards for USD transactions on Ubisoft Store or Epic, your bank may charge a foreign transaction fee (typically 1-3.5%). PayPal also adds a currency conversion fee. Steam transactions in PHP avoid these fees.
